bigswede My first show as well. I remember standing in front of Trey and losing it. This was a free show in the student Union at The University of Wisconsin. Myself and about 50 others enjoyed this experience and they came back in November of 90 to play the Great Hall. I wish I would have taken some Pics, and wish I could remember the setlist. Dam. Those were the day.

dfarkas This was my first Phish show. Can't recall a set list but I remember Bouncing Round the Room complete with trampolines; Axis Bold as Love, Good Times Bad Times. Can't believe it's been 20 years. I remember after the show saying to my friends "hey these guys are gonna be big".

CapitalPhishPhan This was my first show, though I had been given tapes by a friend who went to school in New England for a couple of years. He came out to Madison for this. They played the sounds check, Golgi Apparatus, to a mostly empty room, but when they finished, the room cleared out and the pay phones were full. Within 30 minutes, the room was mostly packed. I don't remember the exact set list - it was more than 30 years ago at this point, but they played a lot of the standard songs from what we now know as the Phish 1.0 era.

I do recall specifically a few though, Jesus Left Chicago, Divided Sky, Runaway Jim, Antelope Song, Mike's Song and I Didn't know. I am not sure Phish knew the significance of Otis Redding to Madison, I'll let those who don't know, Google it.

It was the first of hundreds of shows that I have had the pleasure of attending.
