Review by thelot

thelot The quality for the second show of the New Years run leaves a lot to be desired. The pitch is a hair sharp. It starts out pretty bad but gets a little better midway through Gin.

Set 2 starts off with a decent Gin. Split Open contains the OG Fishman solo prior to the ‘Steam Dream’ section. Nice upbeat versions of Ya Mar and Suzy. Nice loose version of Foam. The rest of the set is pretty lackluster for a second set. Trey wishes everyone a happy New Years Eve when they come back out for the encore. They dive into a cool debut version of Auld Lang Syne before segueing into the first Mike’s Groove encore of their career.
