Review by MJ_Calleys

MJ_Calleys From couch tour...this was an average to slightly above average show. The outstanding song selection of the fourth quarter shouldn't make up for a land mine.

Final rating should be around 3.8

Very good first set, solid playing, sky was beautiful.

While the band came out firing in C&P, they made a terrible choice to not just jam that out into piper. The diversion into the horribly written soul planet cut a terrible hole in the second set. The jam out of soul planet was fantastic but it didn't excuse five minutes of ridiculous lyrics and abhorrence.

Why disrupt a wonderful flow with pure trite?

They need to realize when they have a dud. There are many other ways to go from C&P to piper. This madness must end.

-Phish fan since '95, Clifford ball, Went, fall 97, Island tour and Oswego.
