Review by DemandOpener

DemandOpener Yet another innocent, unassuming show from "the early days", this show features some good playing and a good, representative setlist but not much else.

If you're shuffling around the website looking at random shows but not looking to listen to an entire show, there are maybe a couple things here that are worth listening to. The La Grange is enjoyable. Highway to Hell is so hilariously bad it seemed almost as if there was an inter-band competition going on to see who could do the worst vocals during the choruses. Reba has a nice peak featuring some deliberate, shrieking guitar notes. Suzy has a funny moment where Mike's bass apparently stopped working and Fish lets us all know about it. Of course, the original, horrible Rift makes an appearance. It still sucks.

Ultimately, a lot of this stuff serves as just drops in the bucket that represents the early days of Phish. Completely inessential show. 2 stars.
