Review by MrFoot

MrFoot My wife and I live in Cornwall, UK and came up to see MOFRO on Saturday MIKE on Sunday and MOE on Monday.

I'm giving this show 5 stars for a number of reasons. First, I've never been to any Phish side project shows so no benchmark to make a comparison.

Next, this show was basically my 20th anniversary show, my first Phish show was 3.14.92

The music was hot, Mike and the band were tight and we got a solid two sets of great music. Cities was raging!!! Skin It Back was nice and all of Mike's solo stuff sounded great. I think Mike really enjoys being the front man for this band...he was more animated and energetic than I've ever seen him at any of my 80 Phish shows.

The intimate atmosphere of this soho basement venue with a capacity that is actually around 400, it was about half full, adds to my high rating. There is a little bar with seays that overlooks the stage where we camped out for the show - perfect.

We took three Footsbarn Theatre friends of ours who had never heard of Mike and not heard much Phish. They had a great time and felt like they had been a part of something special.

After the show Mike hung around for autographs and photos. He signed my Spring 92 shirt and then my friend's nipple. I asked Mike if I could get a picture of him with the nipple...he said "You've got 4 seconds to take this photo as I don't feel very comfortable with this" - the photo is one my FB.

Great music, great little venue, great people...5 stars from me
