mgolia6 Thanks for the review. Was kinda surprised at the end when you stated it was the best show you’ve seen all summer (though I realize now I don’t know what if any shows you have seen all summer). I didn’t quite get that impression from the review. I guess not getting number lined must’ve been a plus. LOL. I would have probably dropped redacted’s name here: what kinda of friend doesn’t want to be associated with you!? With fronds like those who needs anemones. Amirite!?

View from the couch found me drifting while I was sleeping through set two (welcomed a new born a few weeks back, so that wasn’t commentary on the second set. Just tired). Woke up in key moments during the second set to find myself playing “what song is this?” Ended up being a fun game. What I did notice from my warped view was how clean the band has been playing. Trey especially. Aside from a couple flubs I think this is the tightest they have sounded with respect to the song proper(s) in years. Not to mention the exploration.

I did think the succinctness of the 10 minute Sand opener (which I absolutely love) was above average to get to a space and return to its landing pad type Twoish.

Appreciate you taking the time to discuss the show.
