And since we're entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we've distributed over $2 million to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
To my ears 2021 is better than 2015 which i do hold dear to my heart.
As of this morning (post Eugene II) this Fall is already the best of the bunch and this puts 2021 at the top of the list and we still have 12 shows left in my opinion.
Trey's new guitar and tones, Fishman murdering on a nightly basis, Page adding his usual great touches plus adding his new sounds and Mike holding it down as always is resulting in another peak for this band almost 40 years in.
The amount of 15 to 30 minutes jams that are driven and focused has been astounding.
I'd be remiss if i didnt mention even the standard, less than 15 minute jams have been excellent and covered unique territory.
At this point in their careers all i can hope for is new ground being covered and they're delivering in spades.
Best band....ever
