Welcome to the 489th edition of Phish.Net's Mystery Jam Monday on Tuesday, the second puzzle of January. The winner will receive an MP3 download code courtesy of our friends at LivePhish.com / Nugs.Net. To win, be the first person to identify the song and date of both mystery clips. Each person gets one guess to start – if no one answers correctly in the first 24 hours, I'll post a hint. After the hint, everyone gets one more guess before Wednesday at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. Stay safe!
Hint: Despite the similarity of the two clips, they come from two different songs, played in two different eras ... though the first was played on the anniversary of the second.
Answer: Congrats to @lysergic on their fourth MJM win, now crossing the halfway mark to MJM ego death! This week they used the generous hint to track down both July 3rd ATL jams, played in G: 7/3/10 "Prince Caspian" and 7/3/99 "Piper." Never forget those '99 Slow Build "Piper"s (the one three weeks later might the slowest build of them all). MJM490 drops shortly...

Great picks this week!
12/30/98 Squirming Coil
7/3/99 Piper
Mother of pearl! I knew I knew that Caspian. Right before the drop into Tweezer.
Next week: more fake QT clips!
