Welcome to the 392nd edition of Phish.Net's Mystery Jam Monday, the third of October. The winner will receive an MP3 download code courtesy of our friends at LivePhish.com / Nugs.Net. To win, be the first person to identify the songs and dates of both mystery clips. The clips are connected by a theme, but the theme needn't be part of the correct answer. Each person gets one guess to start – if no one answers correctly in the first 24 hours, I'll post a hint. After the hint, everyone gets one more guess before Wednesday at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. Good luck!
Hint: That's Phish playing music ... in one of the clips.
Answer: If you don't know, now you know: @garcia17 has the MJM in the palm of his hand. This week marks his sixth win - fifth of the past eleven MJMs - leaving him one shy of the Hall of Fame. This week, he needed the hint to figure out that the Trey2K loops in the second clip were played during the Oysterhead debut (appropriate considering their imminent reunion); the first clip came from another show featuring an Anastasio / Claypool collaboration. This week's solution: 12/6/96 "Simple" and 5/4/00 "Pseudo Suicide." Will @garcia17 close the deal next week? I don't know, but karma will be on his side, as once again he's pushed his winning code back into the pot. That's right: we're going for two on Monday!

5/4/00 Pseudo Suicide
Seek out that 5/4/00 set - high quality SBD recordings circulate far and wide, and it’s great stuff.
5/4/00 Pseudo Suicide"
Nice job, man! I've heard both of these but I would never have got this in 500 years. Props to you, buddy!"Thanks! I'm not familiar at all with OH so the second clip was a challenge. The hint definitely helped...I wasted too much time exploring all kinds of Phish only connections to 12/6."
Had the Simple immediately, being rather fond of Vegas 96. Went all through the only other Claypool sit in. Same here - not familiar enough with Oysterhead to know where to start on that second clip. Good puzzle!"
I had a feeling folks might not be super familiar with the Oysterhead live canon, so I figured the fairest place for folks to start looking was the first show they played!

I'm one track in, and holy s**t... Had only heard the 2006 bonnaroo previously.
